8 Amazing Kids Flower Crafts

Are you looking for some creative, colorful and just down-right awesome crafts for the kids to do this summer?  Boy do I have a few to show you!

We had some really amazing posts shared at our Discover & Explore Flowers linky post and many of them will entice your child to create something beautiful.

Crafting fun flowers is a great opportunity for kids to be creative with a fun hands-on activity.  As kids work on their picture or craft, discuss the various parts of a flower (petals, stem, leaves, etc) to enhance the learning.

Finding the Teachable Moments offers kids an invitation to create this Simple Pasta Flower craft.  I love the colors and variety of textures used in the project.

Life with Moore Babies shared these adorable and fuzzy Pipe Cleaner Flower Rings.  Looks like a great camp craft or sleep-over project!

I just love these HUGE Collage Flowers from Buggy and Buddy!  They would look lovely decorating a window or glass door.

For anyone who loves to garden, this pretty (and educational) Sunflower Craft from JDaniel4’s Mom would be a wonderful pairing to your gardening activities this year.

Learn with Play at home made these easy and sparkly Sunny Potted Flowers using colorful cupcake wrappers and glitters – so creative!

Green Owl Art shared these fun Coffee Filter Hydrangeas that they created using watercolors.

School Time Snippets got crafty (and snuck in some great learning) with this fun Egg Carton Flower craft.

And Growing Book by Book used the pointillism technique to create these beautiful Poinsettia Flowers!

Many thanks to everyone who linked up and shared last week.  We love seeing all your creative ideas!  Visit Fantastic Fun & Learning to see who they are featuring this week — Shaunna is sharing more fun with flowers!

Be sure to share at our current and upcoming linkys too!

We’d love to see your nature & outdoor play ideas for Discover & Explore: A Day at the Park.  And our next linky begins tomorrow — Discover & Explore Art & Museum Fun!
