Quick DIY Valentine Box for Kids

Super easy DIY Valentine Box that can be made at the last minute!

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I’m sure your kids have been thinking about what they will give their classmates this year.

Will it be candy hearts?

Maybe a Star Wars valentine?

Or are they going to make something special for their friends?

DIY Easy Valentine Box for Classroom Party

Getting valentine cards is a really big deal for kids.  Unlike the other parties they have at school, this one involves those precious little cards that tell you how much your appreciated.

All those friends who may tease you or chase you on the playground are suddenly professing a message of friendship when they give you their card.

In our house, all those cards are read aloud at dinner that night.  And then the kids always want to read them again and again throughout the month.

There’s something special about having your friends choose out a ‘love message’ for you.

And of course, you need a special place to keep all those lovely sentiments.

So we’ve got a super easy idea for creating a Valentine Box to store your special messages. This is a great solution if you’re in a pinch and don’t have much time or if you have kids who don’t enjoy decorating a valentine box.

Watch the video for all the details — all you’ll need is an empty tissue box, a bandana and a length of ribbon or twine.
