We are snowbound this week!  Yep, 12 inches of snow overnight tends to shut down most of the city.

Now this is all fine with us as we LOVE snow days -- BUT we had plans to go shopping for some Valentine items this week.  And that's just not going to happen for a few days.

Luckily, there were some AWESOME free printables shared at last week's Discover & Explore Valentine's Day linky.

And what a variety -- bookmarks, math & writing worksheets, games and of course cards that the kids can give their family & friends.

Take some time to browse through and print off a few fun activities!

Living Montessori Now has a great list of Valentine Math printables -- use them for couting, graphing, sorting and more.

Generation iKid shared a super round-up of 15 Valentine Bookmarks for kids!  These would be great to use instead of traditional Valentine's for friends.

Make a traditional Norwegian Heart Basket with this template and tutorial from World for Learning (I so remember doing this as a child -- we used them to collect our Valentine's at the class party one year!)

If you are still looking for Valentine cards, search no further -- The Jenny Evolution has scoured the web and pulled together 60 free printable Valentine cards you can use for those class parties.

Makeovers and Motherhood has a fun printable Valentine Activity Pack -- kids will enjoy practicing their skills with these holiday-themed printables.

And 3 Dinosaurs has a HUGE pack of Valentine Printables that will encourage kids to practice their letters, numbers and writing.

We also have a few printables to add to the list --

Enjoy a family outing as you look for love with this Valentine Scavenger Hunt

And if you'd like to give the kids something special, try these Valentine Coupons for fun family activities!

Be sure to visit this afternoon to share your ideas on our next linky topic -- the Olympic Games!

Happy Valentine's Day!
