What a fun week we had with our Discover & Explore Oceans linky!
There was such a wonderful variety of activities and ideas shared that I thought I would put together a planning kit for your own Under the Sea Party!
Sea Life Decorations
For a great Under the Sea party, try to give guests the feeling of being underwater. When we did our first ocean party, we draped blue streamers across the ceiling in the entry way! The kids loved walking in under all that blue crepe paper :)
Here are some creative ways to decorate whether your hosting your party inside or outside:
This cute fish lantern from Life withe Moore Babies would be a great centerpiece handing over the food table.
This is a fun craft that the kids will love to help make for the party. Decorate the ceilings with these colorful Coffee Filter Jellyfish from Life with Moore Babies.
Crabs & Lobsters
Make a few of these adorable paper plate crab & lobster from Craftulate to hang around the party area. Kids would also love this as a themed activity to do on their own -- if you offer it as an activity, precut all the parts and place everything out for a party craft.
Aren't these Cinnamon Roll Crabs just great for an Under the Sea party! Life with Moore Babies hosted a great mermaid-themed party and they have a TON of ideas for fun food!
Under the Sea Activities
Welcome the kids to the party with this wonderful Deep Blue Sea Bin from Happy Hooligans! Party-goers will enjoy exploring the different animals and areas (and you can even hide some treasure in the bin for more fun!)
Let the kids mix up some of this gorgeous Ocean Blue Play-dough from Inspriation Laboratories -- they will enjoy the fun science and can use it for the next activity...
Creating some cool SeaShell Prints in the dough like these from Like Mama Like Daughter!
For some crafty ocean fun, have each of the kids make their own Pet Sea Creature from Preschool Inspiration to take home as a party favor!
Make sure to visit Shaunna at Fantastic Fun & Learning to see what ocean activities they are highlighting this week.
