There are a lot of great mystery novels for kids!  Here's a few great reads from different categories:

"Flush" and "The Missing Manatee" are both mystery stories that highlight environmental issues - clean water and safe spaces for endangered marine life.

"The Mysterious Benedict Society" is the first in a series about the adventures and mysterious circumstances in the lives of some very gifted kids.

More detective reads, both "Half Moon Investigations" and "Adam Canfield of the Slash" are about teenagers turned private eye.  Lots of excitement included!

A few great classic mystery series that are loved by many include "The Boxcar Children" (one of my favorite), "Nancy Drew" and "The Hardy Boys".

One of the newer mystery series are the American Girl Mysteries.  They are unique in that the stories are written at different time periods throughout history.

And one recommendation for the coming holidays, "Who is Stealing the 12 Days of Christmas?".  A fun neighborhood mystery that has humor and holiday fun!
